BLACK ROCK IN PRINT

BRC members have been in print a lot lately, with Maki's Custom Kicks book, and Zeptonn's Black & White Freedrawing book both doing great business in the design community.

Also spotted was Maki in Computer Arts, and Be Nice's Supermandolini products pretty much everywhere and Aeiko did a new tutorial for Digital Arts too.

THE REVENGE PRINTED AT THREADLESS

Another collaboration for Threadless. For this collaboration we collected separate elements from over 20 members of the Black Rock. Josh Agerstrand put them together into this design. We are planning to sell this print possibly as a poster through the Black Rock store (coming soon).

MONSTERMASH PRINT

This is the result of our latest collective collaboration. It's a print we've just completed which follows the same successful format as the Robot Attack shirt we did for Design By Humans. Again, we each took a number a set to work drawing our own monsters which would come together in the final battle in a huge poster print. We presented this print to the staff at Threadless for their new store in Chicago. We are planning to sell a smaller version with different colourways through the Black Rock store (coming soon).

ROBOT ATTACK SHIRT

This is the result of our latest collective collaboration and is up for sale now at brand new tshirt design shop 'Design By Humans'. Over 20 of us got together under the name 'The Legion of Doom' to do this one and Jeff did a great job of compositing Stinger's original sketch layout.

So far the Black Rockers have been pretty successful over at DBH with Blair, Jan, the 2 Steven's, Russ, Ian, Dan, Julia, Aaron, Pascal and Matthijs all getting designs printed so far. We're rocking that site pretty hard right now, and long may it continue!

BLACK ROCK LETRASET

Coming soon is the latest collaboration between the pirates at the Rock. Everyone took a letterform and designed it in their own style to create our very own sheet of letraset. Still not sure what we're going to do with yet but we'll post it here as soon as we do. Ideas just now include shirts, posters or an actual sheet of letter transfers…
