Zeptonn

Hi, my name is Jan Willem Wennekes, also known as Zeptonn. After having studied both Philosophy (mainly Ludwig Wittgenstein, he is brilliant) and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen, I decided to take up illustrative design as my life. I now fill my days with drawing, sketching, working on and off the computer, thinking, eating, drinking lots of coffee and generally, have fun with fellow artists.

I want my work to convey happiness and to bring a smile to your face. I enjoy working on a variety of projects such as illustration, character design, toy design, identity design and editorial design. I also love collaborating with other artists, such as the members of the Black Rock Collective.

Stuff I like: critters, monsters, colour, wacky stuff, simplicity, complexity, sketchbooks, street-art, skateboards, fairtrade, music, coffee, t-shirts, boardsports and philosophy.
